"Biggest Razorback Fan"

Saturday Daybreak on KATV/Channel 7 announced a few weeks ago that they were having the “Biggest Razorback Fan” contest – winner would receive a Fajita Bar for 15 friends from Moe’s Southwest Grill. I put a power point presentation together with all my pictures of me with Razorback celebrities– GUESS WHAT – I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Channel 7 called yesterday to let me know I won the contest. I am SO excited. It was supposed to be for the Texas game, but the game has been rescheduled due to Hurricane Ike, so now I will need to decide when I want to have it.

Jeff Long/Athletic Director at University of Arkansas

Jeff Long, Athletic Director at the University of Arkansas, had an appointment with my executive, Fletcher Lord, on Friday/September 6th. Of course, he had to go through my office to see Mr. Lord. He was a bit impressed with all the “Razorback” stuff in my office. He was surprised that we had already met the new football head coach, Bobby Petrino. It was exciting to have Mr. Long in my office; it was also exciting that I was able to get my picture with him. I am SO blessed!

Ground Zero Athletics on the Platform

We "finally" got this picture from the professional photographer at the Junior Olympics. I wish I knew how Caleb and the other boys must have felt standing on that platform and receiving those “GOLD” medals. I’m sure it is a feeling they will never forget.
